Situated near
Wales’ largest natural lake in the Snowdonia National Park, Glanllyn Lodge
is a historic gatehouse lodge completely renovated and furnished and
equipped to the highest of standards. It has been awarded a 5 star
grading by the Wales Tourist Board.
The Lodge comprises
of one en-suite double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom.
Bed linen and towels supplied.
There
is a superb luxury bathroom with a whirlpool bath....Go on - spoil
yourself!

The
large oak kitchen/diner has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave etc.

The comfortable
lounge is furnished to a high standard and to enhance your stay, it is
equipped with sky TV & a DVD player.
The Lodge is
centrally heated and double glazed throughout and outside has an enclosed
paved area with garden furniture. A no smoking and no pets policy
applies.
Occupants of the
Lodge have access to 16 acres of parkland bordering the lake which is a
touring caravan and camping park during the Summer months. There is
access for sailing, canoeing and fishing throughout the year. The
Aran,
Arenig, Berwyn and Cader Idris mountain ranges are all nearby and there
is an abundance of local walks to suit everyone.
The
small market town of Bala is 3 miles away with plenty of small shops,
restaurants, pubs, golf course, cinema and a leisure centre.

Glanllyn Lodge
Letting Prices for 2011
Short breaks available (off peak weeks only)……………price
available on application and varies according to length of stay and number of
persons starting from £250
No extra charge for heating or electricity.
Please telephone 01678 540227 to check if the dates you require are available
before sending a deposit.
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required upon booking with the balance
payable on your arrival date.
Conditions of letting
The cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of 5 persons. The maximum
occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. The cottage is let
to families and couples only (no groups) with at least one adult over
25yrs. The cottage is for the occupancy and use by the number of persons
stated on the booking form. Friends and families who might be camping on
our park are not allowed to make use of the cottage facilities.
The cottage is equipped and furnished to a very high standard and is
verified annually by the Wales Tourist Board and has achieved an excellent
5 star grade. It is expected of all occupants to respect the property and
its surroundings and to depart leaving it as clean and tidy as possible.
Any damages or breakages, which cannot be replaced during occupancy, will
be charged for. On arrival, the balance payment and a bond of £100 is
required (bond is refundable in full if no damage has occurred during your
stay and the Lodge is left in a clean and tidy state).
The cottage is not equipped for children under 2 years of age, i.e., no
cots or high chairs provided.
No Smoking and No pets allowed (with the exception of guide dogs).
All bed linen is supplied. Towels are provided (one hand and one bath
towel per person). Please bring your own towels for use in the local
swimming pool or for the beach/lake.
The Lodge weekly lets are from 3.00pm date of arrival until 10.00am date
of departure. Glanllyn Lodge is situated on the A494 (straight through
Bala and alongside the lake for 3 miles - look for the sign - Glanllyn
Caravan Park on the left). The website address for Glanllyn Caravan Park
is www.glanllyn.com on which there is a location map which should be
helpful to find Glanllyn Lodge. The caravan park is closed from October
10th until March 20th but occupants of the Lodge have access to the lake
for sailing canoeing or fishing and access to the 16 acres of bordering
parkland throughout the year. There is also a large children’s playground.
